Using the app

We grant you a personal, non transferable licence to use Cancelled on devices you own or control. Apps bought through the App Store are also covered by Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, which applies alongside these terms.

You agree not to reverse engineer the app, resell it, or use it to break the law.

What Cancelled does not do

This matters more than anything else here, so it comes early.

• Cancelled does not cancel subscriptions for you. It shows you where to cancel and walks you through the steps, and you do the cancelling yourself. Marking something as cancelled in the app changes the app only. It does not tell the service anything.
• Cancelled does not connect to your bank and does not read your transactions. Everything in your list is there because you or an import you ran put it there.
• Cancellation links and steps are gathered from public sources and are provided as a best effort. Services change their pages often. Always confirm with the service that a cancellation went through.
• Cancelled is not financial advice. The totals and projections are arithmetic on the numbers you entered.

Your data is yours

Your subscriptions are stored on your device and belong to you. We claim no ownership of them. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.

Because we hold no copy, we cannot restore your list if you lose your device or delete the app without a backup.

Cancelled Pro

Cancelled is free to use up to a limited number of tracked subscriptions. Cancelled Pro removes that limit. The price is always shown on the purchase screen in the app, in your own currency, before you buy.

Cancelled Pro is sold as a one time purchase. You pay once and it stays unlocked. There is nothing to renew and nothing to cancel, and no one will charge you again.

• Payment is taken by Apple through your Apple account when you confirm the purchase.
• The purchase is tied to your Apple account, not to your device. Restore Purchases brings it back on a new device or after reinstalling, and it is available on the purchase screen and in Settings.
• Where Family Sharing is switched on for the purchase, the people in your family group can use Pro as well.

If we ever offer a recurring plan alongside it, that plan would renew automatically until you turn off automatic renewal in your Apple account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. Cancelling would stop the next renewal without shortening a period you had already paid for. The purchase screen always says which of the two you are buying.

Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's own policy, because Apple is the seller. We cannot issue a refund ourselves, though we are happy to help you ask for one.

Prices can change. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and Apple will ask you to agree before charging a higher renewal price.

Availability

We work to keep the app and its lookups working, but we do not promise they will always be available or always be correct. Features may change or be withdrawn as the app develops.

Liability

Cancelled is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Sarl Studio is not liable for money you lose because a subscription was not cancelled, because a reminder did not arrive, or because information in the app was out of date. You remain responsible for your own subscriptions.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands, where Sarl Studio is established. This does not affect any protection you have under the consumer law of the country you live in, which continues to apply.
