How to cancel iCloud+
Apple bills this one, so it cancels in iOS Settings and nowhere else. Cancelling in the app itself does nothing.
The catch
Apple bills this one, so it cancels in iOS Settings and nowhere else. Cancelling in the app itself does nothing.
How to cancel iCloud+
- On iPhone or iPad, open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions, then tap iCloud+ under Active.
- Tap Cancel Subscription to end the plan, or tap See All Plans to downgrade.
- Before downgrading, download or remove any content above your new storage limit.
- Confirm the change; it takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Apple bills this one
iCloud+ is billed by Apple rather than by iCloud+ directly. That means cancelling inside the app does nothing at all. Open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel it there. The same applies on a Mac under System Settings.
Worth knowing
iCloud+ is billed by Apple, so cancel or downgrade it in device Settings under your Apple Account Subscriptions rather than on a website. Storage changes apply after the current billing period ends.
Other cloud and storage subscriptions
That is one. Most people have eight.
Cancelled puts every recurring charge in one list with a real monthly total, then reminds you before the next trial converts. No bank login.
