How to cancel HealthCity

This one wants an email, and the clock starts when it lands rather than when you send it. A click is not enough. They want it in writing, and a letter that arrives late counts as the following month. There is a committed term. Leaving inside it usually means paying the rest of it anyway.

1. 1Check your contract: to avoid automatic renewal, cancel in writing at least 4 weeks before the end date of your initial minimum term.
2. 2If you registered online, cancel online via www.healthcity.nl or by email to info@healthcity.nl.
3. 3Otherwise submit a written cancellation using the HealthCity cancellation form or your own letter to your club, or to HealthCity West B.V., Postbus 360, 1180 AJ Amstelveen.
4. 4Send any letter by registered post (aangetekende post) so you have proof of receipt.
5. 5Keep the confirmation; a 4-week notice period applies once the minimum term has passed.

Cancelling on the day the charge lands is already too late here. Work backwards from your renewal date.

Cancellation must be in writing (schriftelijk). Members who signed up online can cancel online via the website or by email to info@healthcity.nl; others give written notice at their club or by letter to HealthCity West B.V., Postbus 360, 1180 AJ Amstelveen, which HealthCity recommends sending by registered post. Notice period is 4 weeks and applies after the initial minimum contract term (typically 12 months); missing the deadline auto-renews the membership for an indefinite period with a rolling 4-week notice period. Online sign-ups also have a 14-day statutory cooling-off/withdrawal right. Note: many HealthCity clubs have been taken over by Basic-Fit, so some members may need to follow Basic-Fit's cancellation process instead. Verification is needs-manual: healthcity.nl refused all automated connections (curl returned 000 and WebFetch returned ECONNREFUSED) from a bot-blocking / geo or WAF filter, but the pages are real and the cancellation terms above are drawn from the official algemene voorwaarden surfaced in search. Biller is direct (not Apple); if a HealthCity subscription were ever purchased as an in-app purchase via the App Store it would instead be Apple-billed and cancelled through Apple's subscription settings.
